Born with congenital heart disease and having 2 open heart surgeries, I'm at the point in life where I need a liver and heart transplant. Doctors cannot perform because it's too risky. I struggle everyday, but I try to live life to the fullest and praise God for each day He gives me with my love ones!!!

I think gynocentric health initiatives on behalf of diseases that both sexes suffer from equally is obnoxious.

It's a great organization that is so important for women to be educated, and get screened for heart disease. We don't have the typical symptoms of a heart attack as men. I know my first sign of a problem was severe fatigue before being tested twice before an angiography found an aynurism behind my heart! Thankfully it was resolved in the cath lab two weeks later with a sergon standing by to do emergency bypass if necessary. I was only 45 yrs old! Thanks to the Debaky Heart Institute at St Luke's in Houston!

I have a heart problem. My descending right valve is not working right. My heart Dr thinks the valve issue was caused by a car crash I was in. A drunk driver landed his car on top of my car crushing me. After I started to get better I had a heart attack that did almost no damage to my heart. I have nothing wrong with my heart just the valve issue. The heart Dr thinks the valve problem was caused by the crash. All I can say is God is good because with all that happened the Dr's weren't sure if I would make it. The ER Dr's tol... read more
