I am in the fight to fight against Heart Disease.
Let's get the message of PPCM, Pregnancy induced heart failure out there to ALL women. We need to advocate for ourselves!!! Savethemommies <3
Go to: Save the Mommies! PPCM Awareness. We need more research, early diagnosis and better outcomes for new mommies with this type of heart failure.
I support the Go Red For Women. As a health educator I speak along with my husband Curtis to inform women about the signs of heart attacks and strokes as it relates to women. Will wear my red on Feb. 2nd and pass it on to others.
I have experienced a heart scare in 2016 which has made me want to learn more, support more and be in prayer for more for all women.
My mother pass away 1-29 -15 she love red that was her favorite color and mines too . While she was in a coma I had to learn about stoke patients .
Heart disease is a silent killer..the symptons for a woman are different from a man..you should get to know them..I'm a survivor of a heart attack..it came on fast, my sign was a bloody nose that would not stop..I was 25yrs..I'm now 66 and I'm very aware of what goes own in my body..you should be also...I lost my father and my uncle's to heart disease..
As a survivor of a heart attack and stroke,I feel truly honored and privileged to share with other why I feel so strongly about this great and outstanding organization.The American Heart Association.It is vital to be well informed and knowledgeable about these diseases.The better we are equipped with educational materials making them applicable in.our lives,the better off we will find ourselves advocating and getting better healthcare for ourselves,family and friends as well.Truly,I am proud to Go Red for Women!!
