A heart attack doesn’t look like you think. A heart attack doesn’t feel like you think. The only symptom I had was burning at the back of my throat. 59 and a heart attack survivor. After a heart attack, go to cardio rehab if you have the chance. It is an excellent program that teaches you diet, exercise, about medicine, resilience,... Well worth it!
I have had 2 heart attacks, age 49 & 55. Either time I didn't even know it was happening. stay safe, read the symptoms. women are very different from men.
Go Red for Women is an outstanding event! This group does so much for women in our community and for educating our community on Women’s heart health! I was honored to be a Tony part of the planning for this years event! I had the privilege of meeting Dr.Nita Harris and Dr. Kim Delaney .... Both women have been involved with Go Red Colorado Springs for years and are an integral part of the success of Go Red For Women! Thank you ladies.

At 40, I finally thought I had found my groove. One night, everytime I laid down I coughed and could not breathe. It was ao bad my husband took me to the ER. CHS, Stage 3-4, not responding to medication or the pacemaker. Going to meet with a transplant doctor. Not sure how to handle this. Honestly, I am only holding it together for my family.
I am about to leave the hospital after having aorta valve replacement surgery and 2 by-passes. I've been in the hospital one full week and will go to a rehab facility this afternoon for a few days. I was looking for a support group on facebook for encouragement. I am 72 years old, lost my husband of 52 years in Oct. 2017 and we have 2 grown daughtérs and 2 grandsons. This is my first experience with heart problems. �
