I had chest pains at work in Nov 2000. Went to the Big Presbyterian ER, and was diagnosed with CHF, Irregular heartbeat and had my first implanted pacemaker put in. Since then I’ve had three defibrillator put in , 2004, 2010, and 2014. Have a great team of cardiologists that work with me and doing well. So grateful to have lived to see my grandson ( he’s now 10). My next replacement surgery will be spring 2020.

This is a great organization geared for women with heart disease. My wife is a 12 year survivor (triple bypass and 5 stents) If you are having any type of chest pain or other symptoms don't wait to see what happens - get help NOW!

I survived two heart attacks last year thanks to my awesome cardiologist and his team. I wound up with 5 stents. It’s been 5 months since the last heart attack. I’m doing better every day. Some days I still get really tired but with the help of cardiac rehab I’m moving forward to normal again.
