We’re raising awareness and money to educate women about the symptoms and treatment for heart disease. One in every 3 women dies of heart disease. That is more deaths than all forms of cancer combined!
My granddaughter was born with CHD with multiple heart defects. She wasn’t suppose to live but 15 surgeries later and now age 24 she is doing well. Those surgeries include heart cath and pacemaker at age 13. Everyone needs to be aware of Heart disease. I’m Blessed to have my granddaughter here. I wear red for her and my sister and for a good friend of mine.
On 6 December it will be 10 years since my heart attack. I did not have typical symptoms. Women have to pay attention to their bodies and I can't tell my story often enough in hopes it will save someone else.
I am a survivor and the organization brings me peace
