At Glenlea Surgery, only one receptionist (Miela) truly seems to care to give a good service, the rest are incredibly rude and couldn’t care less about anyone. When you manage to see a GP, most of them are actually really good and helpful, but it is nearly impossible to book an appointment at this practice. My wife has been struggling and unable to get an appointment in 3 days, ringing every morning at 8 and being in a call queue. There needs to be more resource.

Glenlea has become something of a lottery recently. Sometimes you get a warm welcome, and other times, it has a frosty cold atmosphere. I understand that working in the NHS is challenging, and I have worked in palliative care. It is prudent to remember that systemic failings are not patients' faults. Care should always be commissioned compassionately, no matter if you are a doctor, a nurse, or a receptionist.

Shocking. Not able to make an appointment in the morning tell you to ring at 12. You ring back at 12 have to wait in a long queue but sometimes don't. But either way you don't get an appointment. Either appointments have all gone by the time the queue gets to you or they obviously lie about afternoon appointments coming out at 12 as I have in the past gotten an appointment in the morning for afternoon. They obviously don't care about patients at all
