I went to see Jonny when I started to get some knee pain during my half marathon training. He was really great at diagnosing the problem through seeing me run on the treadmill and asking relevant questions. He was quickly able to identify that it was my low cadence and running form that was causing my pain. After some acupuncture and massaging the muscles around my knee, he gave me some great advice on how to run with better form, which has led me to complete my half marathon and continue to enjoy running pain free!

Jonny has always sought to educate as part of the process of rehabilitation and I'm very pleased to see that as an extension of his own running journey he has now broadened the scope of what he offers into a comprehensive range of services that now encompass running analysis and coaching.

Had a brilliant experience with the 2 part running assessment and coaching by Jonny. I was apprehensive before introducing running more into my routine to train for my first marathon as I was worried I would get injured. Jonny assessed my running form and guided my training for my marathon which allowed me to exceed my own expectations and of course, avoid injury. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

My first visit to the clinic was 6 weeks before a marathon with a hip flexor injury that was impacting my training block. Jonny was able to provide a rehab programme that addressed the injury, but also kept me running and within a couple of weeks build up the volume to ensuring I was marathon ready. I’ve been back more recently where Jonny analysed my running style to identify the cause of a separate niggle and also help improve my running form. Can’t recommend Jonny and the clinic highly enough.

Can’t praise Jonny enough for all his help with my injury and recovery. Within a couple of months of hard work in the gym following a specific and tailored program designed by Jonny, I am back running several pain-free sessions per week, something I didn’t think was possible last year when I was close to giving up on myself as the pain was just too much and I lost the will to continue to even try. We have been working on building strength and increasing my running slowly and hopefully my confidence will also follow. Jonny ha... read more
