Evernest Holdings does not care about its residents, is negligent, and incompetent! Their INCOMPETENCE will COST YOU MONEY!!!! I have been a tenant since 4/2024. I had very few issues my 1st year; however, it seems that as soon as I resigned my lease, I got a new resident manager, Jennina Juban, and I started having serious issues. I used Evernest as my property manager in Birmingham for 5 years. There was a good amount of turnover in the person assigned to manage my home (which is why I did not rate a 5), but the last manager Alex Ortiz was amazing. She's fantastic. If you are going to use Evernest try to get her as you manager. You will be happy!
SO I have a housing voucher evernest sent a rental increase request to the housing authority the end of April knowing they have 60-90 days to respond I got a intent to vacate notice the end of May long story short they are asking for more than what the house is worth so it was denied but they will give a rental increase Evernest said because it was sent past the deadline and my lease expired they would no longer process the rental increase bad business decision in my leasing experience we would renew the lease and except th... read more
Bad experience from beginning now I have to move
If I could give zero stars I would. This company is the most negligent company I have ever worked with. My surprise that they are still in business is an understatement. They play dumb. Pretend like the managers and people who are over the problem you have are not available ever and simply DO NOT CARE about any REAL problems you might have. My family has known of mold in our house for over a month. I have been sick for five months straight with no end. The rest of my family also has been sick and had their body's affected.... read more
RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM EVERNEST AS POSSIBLE. Do not rent from them. It is a nightmare. I have verified mold, 87% mold particles in the air. I have paid for specialists to come out and find where the mold is coming from, and it is in the HVAC unit, getting pushed out into the home every time the ac or heat turns on. Evernest does not care. The home is not safe and habitable, so I have been displaced without a home for 5 weeks. Evernest does not care. They will not return calls, they do not answer emails. Doesn’t deserve 1 star. This is worst property management company. They would say they fixed something and they never did. They would send me pictures of properties I don’t own to show they fixed it. Property managers work from home and might not even be local. Very difficult to get ahold of the property manager or anyone on the team. Horrible experience.
