The shop is small and quaint; you feel like you are amongst friends with the very comfortable and warm atmosphere. The owner and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. When it comes to getting your money's worth and an awesome cut ask for (Marlene)! – Marlene and I go way back besides gaining a friend I also met an outstanding professional hairstylist when I first walked into a salon she worked in , in the west village. She is one of the most talented hairstylists I have ever met she's great to talk to, and will never dissapoint you You can't improvise experience and boy are Marlene's hands talented and skilled she is #1 Will follow her whereever she might go!!!!!!!!!
Great salon, great staff! – I was walking home and in dire need of a haircut. Stopped by Gio Studio Salon and got a great haircut from Andrew. A great little boutique salon, very attentive staff, I will definitely being back. Check it out if you are in the neighborhood!
Bad haircut . Bad attitude – Very dissapointed . i went to see Marlene for a haircut a while ago and i have to say after 2 months my haircut looks awfull it grew very uneven and i can see disconnections everywhere. she definetly think she is good , cause she has a very arrogant and mad attitude .. but i have to say she is very average and she is not even freindly as a person .... so if you look for a good haircut dont get it with the angry lady in the front thanks

She is respectful straight to the point and has the most skilled hands with a pair of scissors I have ever I mean ever seen this woman is the best there is at work no matter what i sat down while I was waiting and saw this woman work it was like being at a hair show man !! Best Color and Cuts for straight hair – I'm a newby to this salon I found through citysearch by clicking in "Best hair coloring in NYC". I've had Daniel start me off w/a edgy chin length bob w/warm reddish hi-lites and loved it. Loved the results so much that i came back within a month only b/c i'm hair fanatic and this time around had Marlene do my hair b/c Daniel was off.
