Great place for good RED! – i needed a haircut and color in a hurry and called up - they saw me that night. Thanks to Andrew who did an amazing job of my red....now i think i wanna go back blonde (just because i can) and guess where i will go!? The staff are super friendly and Andrew did a really great job with my needs...cut was perfect and still holding up its shape 2 months later...although im guessing i need to make a new appt soon....
Want a great haircut? Go to Gio and ask for Marlene – Gio Studio is a small full service hair salon just off 7th Avenue, and Marlene Mago, one of the best stylists in the city is there. She has been cutting my hair for years, and is a true artist. I'm in the entertainment business, so I should know. Not only is Marlene a great stylist, she is a genius with color. Ask for Marlene, you won't regret it.

Best Hair Salon in New York – As soon as I went in I immediately know that I would have a great time getting my hair done. Everyone who works there is very friendly and eventhough Iwas only in to make my app. they gave me their full attention. I'm looking forward to getting my hair done by Michael and I just knew as soon as I meet him I would get a great cut.
The (Best) Highlights and haircut ever! Wow! – I Was simply walking by,and I saw the cutest and coziest salon decide to walk in and I was received with so much attention and courtesy everyone was great to me! I had my highlights and cut by Gio what experience! She's an artist Knew exactly what to do, the right tones and shades to use for my hair and complexion ! I was told she was excellent and she really is! Try getting your hair cut by her she's great also. Thank you Gio will definitely see her again.
Most Friendly Salon I Have Ever Been To! – I booked an appt at Gio after reading the reviews here on citysearch. I was a little nervous, but as soon as I got there I felt so comfortable! Everyone greeted me and asked me questions, and my hair stylist, Michael, was the BEST! He really listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. Best Salon in New York – Gio studio salon is in my opinion the best salon I have ever been too. Michael was my stylist, and he gave me a beautiful new hair cut and color for the new year. The salon has a wonderful warm vibe, everyone is happy to very hospitable. Michael made me feel very comfortable and listened to exactly what i wanted. I could not be happier with my new "do." I will most deffinitly not being getting my hair done anywhere else. Try it and you will see what I am talking about!!
Best salon in NY – Gio Studio Salon provides the best hair stylists and services in the NYC area. I've been living here for 8 years and I haven't had a better experience. Michael is a perfectionist and an artist when it comes to hair. I've gotten so many compliments since I started going. The atmosphere is professional and very clean - I recommend it to everyone!
Great Hair extensions!
