Curly Hair Hell? Ask for Andy! – Have been on the hunt forever to replace my stylist who moved out of NYC. Check out Andy - totally worth the trip! If you have an unruly, coarse curly mop - he knows what to do :) Thank God!!! And such a lovely little salon ....
ask for Andy if you have long hair – I have been a big fan of Andy Palmer, so I was excited when he joined Gio Studion Salon. He does a great job cutting long hair. I highly recommend him!!
Hot new place in town – The Gio Salon is a great place for a haircut. While the salon itself is rather small, it doesn't feel cramped, and the staff is great -- I'm always offered a refreshment upon arriving. The assistants give great scalp massages during the shampoo and Gio's cuts are excellent! And the price is excellent. I highly recommend this place.
Best Salon – This new salon is fabulous. And than you have Andy. Who is beyond fabulous!!! Color, cut, curls - you name it, he creates it. His flare for detail is exquisite. If you love beautiful healthy hair, you must let Andy perform his magic!!!

Great Stylist – Well, I sort of discovered this place accidentally. I work right near there and have been looking for a great hair place since I moved to the city. I took a risk, for sure, but it was worth it!! If you go there, you MUST ask for Matty. He is AMAZING. He had so many ideas immediately. Best Stylist in NYC! – Matty @ Gio Studio Salon is the best stylist I have ever used. I am an actress and a makeup artist who has worked professionally in NYC for many years. Best place for Highlights in NYC – I have been going to Giovanny (the owner) for years and follow her wherever she goes so I was thrilled to see her open her own salon. She consistently produces amazing highlights and always gives the perfect cut. In addition to the fabulous color, the prices are significantly less than any other salon that claims to do great color/cuts. You will not be dissappointed, she is the best in the city!
