amazing environment and people!!!!!! – I just moved in the area of chelsea where I found Gio Studio Salon. I have lived on the upper east-side for 10 years ,and I went to the most expensive salons on the upper east-side. When I moved I did not know where I was going to go. very bad – I got highlights at Gio Studio. It was terrible too many color, very visible LINES, and the base color completely different than i wanted. I wasted my money ($300) and the point is now i want to change it but i can not change because of damaged. It is very sad. They dont deserved my money!!
The best high-lights ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – well, what can I say I have been Gios client for over 6 years and there's a good reason for that she just might be the best colorist there is whether I want full color ,highlights anything this girl knows what you want and need and the people at the salon are so good. the minute you walk in everyone and I mean everyone is at your service wow what people ........... Great Salon; Best Hairdresser – I came into the salon with a hair emergency. I had a wedding to go to the next day, but my hair was a mess. I was booked an appt. for the next day. Michael was my hairdresser and he gave me a brand new stylish hair cut but I also had extensions put in. It made my hair much fuller and I have recieved so many compliments. I will be back for another visit with Mike for sure. The price were really reasonable.
Opti-smooth Optismooth Opti.smooth = Lifesaver! – UPDATE! Hi all, I just went to Gio again for my opti.smooth retouch and I wanted to let everyone know how it went. I initially had opti.smooth done about 2 years ago by Gio. Fantastic. Then I got my first retouch done at another salon (J christopher) one year ago bc they were really cheap. But you get what you pay for. Seriously. He left out a few chunks of hair that I had to straighten daily (defeats the purpose of straightening!). I was livid. No one at that salon cared.
