Why did I wait so long to try this salon out????? – So after a summer of frizzy, curly, unruly hair I got to thinking about taking control of my hair. I read up online and narrowed it down to 2 salon. Just When I Lost All Hope!! – Wow, Crysdian is a master. This guy is such a breath of fresh air. He listens and executes! After years of paying a fortune on Park Ave and having so so cuts and colour, here comes this guy. New from Seattle, I believe he will be one of the tops in the city. Crysdian Is The Best In NYC – I had to write about my experience at GIO SALON the other day. As usual, at the last minute I needed highlights and a cut. I called my usual girl and could not get in. So, I called this salon, and got an appointment. I am so glad I fell into Crydian's hands. He not only was so attentive and listened , he genuinely cared about what I was saying. UPDATE! Hi all, I just went to Gio again for my opti.smooth retouch and I wanted to let everyone know how it went. I initially had opti.smooth done about 2 years ago by Gio. Fantastic. Then I got my first retouch done at another salon (J christopher) one year ago bc they were really cheap. But you get what you pay for. Seriously. He left out a few chunks of hair that I had to straighten daily (defeats the purpose of straightening!). I was livid. No one at that salon cared. It is not a Con The Introductory Offer is Great ! – For those who had a bad experience I really don't know where you went,because I was treated like royalty. Great Experience!!!! – After much deliberation I decided to cut my hair. I was going through a divorce, my mother is out of state and terminally. Due to all this stress, it went from being very long to medium length. It was breaking off and in terrible condition. Coco @ Gio - recommended! – I had a fabulous cut and very positive experience all around last night at Gio's. I had gotten the promotion and really wasn't expecting much, but I found the whole staff to be very warm and welcoming, and the energy to be very positive. Coco did my hair (which tends to be a matted, frizzy mess) and he really listened to me regarding my fears (not too short or I get "poodle head"). So It all started when we were approched by this guy selling an intro package to Gio Studio Salon,we took a look at the offer and went for it.So it was four of us we went and saw Gio, Andy,Tayla and Daniel.I can't figure out which one of us lokked better.
