Atmosphere is fine, busy with the various events and conferences stopping for a pint. This place seems best for a drink, not food. Service was hard to get, despite numerous employees being in the dining area. The food was poor quality. The curry had little flavor, the chicken was dried out and tough, the veg chili couldn’t be finished, and the meatball pizza was overcooked such that the pasta was falling apart and the meatballs were tough. None of us finished our meals. Go elsewhere for food.

I stayed at this Hilton on the 6th of August, again tonight (19th), and will also be staying tomorrow night. I always use Gild restaurant for my lunch and dinner, and the food is consistently very good. The service is excellent, and I especially want to mention Ibs and Fiona, who provide exceptional service and really make the dining experience outstanding. Highly recommended!

Their "milkshakes" at the walk-up counter were bland, icy milk-waters. So disappointing, and not inexpensive for the insulting experience.

Average to poor burger and chips for nearly £20, £8 for a very ordinary pint. An astonishing rip off.

Hind sight is a wonderful thing. Honestly that was the most awful burger I have eaten, gristly and low grade meat, the chips were luke warm and were obviously microwaved. Best bit were onion rings but they were cold 🫤
