We have used GF Sprague several times over the past for roof-related repair work. Bob does a good job of assessing what’s going on and what’s needed for a lasting repair. Most recently, they replaced half of our roof. They always come when they say they will and do excellent work.
Estimate was super thorough, work was on time, done well and any concerns during the work was completed to our satisfaction. Only suggestion would be to break out cost estimate vs. just give us one cost. Would also suggest the rail fence be offered in more than white in case we wanted to make railing color match our trim.
G.F. Sprague replaced my roof on my house about 7 years ago. They did an excellent job. Last winter I had an issue with ice dams. Therefore I reached out to schedule a meeting to obtain their recommendation. They scheduled an appointment and Bob came out and provided advice. Reliable service. I highly recommend.

The estimator spent plenty of time understanding the scope, the difficulties and our goals and returned with a comprehensive estimate that he went over in detail, making any necessary changes before we signed the contract. I had hired the company to replace the 80-year-old slate roof on our home and garage; with a completely brand new slate roof. The garage needed, not only slate but underlayments along with extensive carpentry work. The house as well needed a considerable amount of carpentry work as the slate was being installed too. GF Sprague did a fantastic job tackling a mysterious and serious leak in our slate roof (which an earlier contractor charged us $2000 to unsuccessfully diagnose!) We worked with Paul to install 2 roof vents for our bathroom remodels when our contractor was unable to dot his for us. He was incredibly efficient and made a recommendation to place it in a different spot so we wouldn't harm the flashing from the skylight.
