Visiting for a conference and found this place on a Google search. All I can say is AMAZING! From the Peach Martini to the fried oysters, catfish, collards and Perlau... It doesn't get any more fresh and delicious!
Ordered lamp chops and they were superb,tender,tasty and juicy. The service was also excellent.

Best pork chop meal of my life! Every side item had it's place and perfectly matched the delicious chop! Definitely coming back next time I'm in DC! Service was wonderful and atmosphere was a nice blend of dressy and come as you are!
I loved the food. We had a new waiter who was charismatic and attentive. I was with my parents so the vibe was real nice. I love the music, food, drink was just okay. I recommend this place to anyone in DC or visiting

My sister and I went for the first time on Saturday. As we walked in there was a very foul smell immediately, so I whispered it to the hostess and she said that she would leave out and come in to see if she could smell anything... she said she did not, so nothing was done. But anyway my sister ordered the shrimp and grits , I ordered the short ribs and crab cake. This experience was HORRIBLE!! Let's begin with the hostess... When we arrived she was on a call, which is normal. However, when her call exceeded three minutes, she didn't even offer the mouthed, "I'll be with you shortly". Then when she finally concluded her call, she asked "How can I help you" like we were on the phone with a call center. Why else would be standing in a restaurant lobby?
