HANDS DOWN THEE BEST fried chicken I've had since my mom's!! If you're ever in the DC area you HAVE to check this place out....! I cant lie! Order the buttermilk fried chicken entree and you'll thank me for the recommendation! ;)
Food is delicious, I'm from SC, near Charleston area and the Shrimp and Grits were impeccable, my server Stephanie was very attentive...I've only been twice, I'm so glad to have found this place...I recommend the fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, fried chicken, collard greens,deconstructed jambalaya and I think it's called the Pee Dee Mai Tai!
I was not impressed with the chicken options but ordered the fried chicken entree...it looked so delicious. ...no taste ....no flavor the worst !!! The waitress was excellent. I would not recommend this restaurant for southern cooking.
My husband and I loved the food. He had the gumbo which was excellent and I had Chilean Sea Bass which was great!
About last night...chicken fried oysters with peppers, watermelon salad, fried catfish & slaw, crab hushpuppies and chutney, & nicely poured adult beverages...Anya, Abel & Carmen took great care of us! Delicious, prompt, & courteous!
My sister and I ate here, the food was AMAZING!!! But our waiter Matthew was the best waiter we had our whole DC trip!!!!! Thank you Matthew and Georgia Brown!!!

We are still talking about our lunch today. This place has the best food, we've eaten out in a long time. The service was exceptional, and the food was phenomenal. I hope to make it back before our weeklong vacation ends. #KansasCity
Very nice atmosphere and the food was great. The best tasting brussel sprouts in the world! I typically do not eat them.
