Georgia Brown's offers a wide variety of soul food and "low country" fare served with Southern hospitality. Select from the traditional dishes of South Carolina, such as fried catfish and seafood gumbo, or be daring and try the shrimp and grits or frogmore stew. In a nod to the health conscious, Georgia Brown's also offers vegetarian versions of the meat-filled entrees. For a special treat, stop in for Sunday brunch, which features live swing jazz and a generous fixed-price menu.

Amazing!!! Happy hour food and drink- incredible! Would definitely recommend! X
Visited from AZ two times in the past couple months. This is my new favorite place! Great happy hour!!
I thought it was very nice, the atmosphere the music and the food was good. They had a lot of stuff on the buffet that I did enjoy. I will go back next time I'm in DC.
My husband and I attended the Jazz brunch this pass Sunday, and I was completely empress with the atmosphere, and the food was excellent. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. We will return to this restaurant for sure.
The atmosphere was good...But the food was just ok (sorry) ...If I ever go back it would be to try the brunch... You can get that same meal @ OTI (the pork chops) for less and taste much better.
My sister and I were visiting she's from Oakland California and myself from Raleigh NC, the service was excellent our waiter Daniel was on top of everything explained about what Mumbo sauce was and knew right away we were not from The DC area, when I tell you the food was absolutely delicious and arrived hot and tasty...seasoned very well only complaint I have is we didn't dine there earlier because we stayed for 6 days and last night was our last night. When I say you won't be disappointed very happy customer five stars and... read more
We were here for two weeks from Wales we walked past and turned back for lunch on our 2nd day We did not look back we visited both restaurant and bar on a number of occasions and every time we were welcomed and had a great time Thanks to the waiters and the bar staff especially Anya and Steve .. Anya was ready with our nite caps and Steve was ready to explain baseball to my friend Helen We also met a lovely lady called Heather Last evening who was happy to chat to us in bar Washingtonians are so friendly
Shoutout to Raphael. The best bartender doing it.
The food was good but the price is too high. It's too cramped in there. And the bottomless mimosas were watered down. I felt like I od'd on orange juice.
