Brow wax & hair services There are 2 people at this salon that I can't do without - Karina and Andrew. After each brow wax with Karina I look as if I've had a facelift. She is also super quick. Andrew did the best bob cut on me and I'm hooked. I wish parking was easier to find but even so it's worth the trip.
WAX TECH SHOULD BE REPORTED TO LICENSING BOARD DO NOT get a bikini wax from this salon. I had a wax prior to an important event and had to return for a second, yet unsuccessful, wax because no hair had been removed - it was simply ripped off at the root and left to ingrow just prior to my event. The spa tech didn't even use powder on my skin before beginning the service, ripping more skin from my body than anything else. I REPEAT - DO NOT USE THIS SPA!
Nice I would come here again for the waxing and skincare..however, for nails, I would go to an actual nail salon. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come here again.
Mindi Shana Dee is an amazing stylist. I was scared to put color in my hair but with her skills it turned out great and looked natural. I always receive many complements on my hair cuts thanks to Shana. She has over 10 years of experience which always shows in the end product, my hair!
For great color and cut! Ask for Shana Dee. Not only is she genius with helping you figure out your most flattering hairstyle, but she is also a wiz with color. By far she's been my favorite hair stylist I've ever gone to. I also appreciate that she listens and takes what you want in to consideration and makes it better than what you could have imagined for yourself.
first wax! :) So I was terrified about my first wax and let me tell you girls....KARINA IS AMAZING!! I was so nervous I brought two friends with me for support and Ive never felt so comfortable and relaxed! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND KARINA!!! :) im telling you ...you won't regret it !
wonderful! a very professional mood for a spa- clean, no-nonsence, almost clinical feeling. treatments are great- def. worth the price. try the eyebrow threading!
Theresa B Shana Dee has the most beautiful up-dos I've ever seen. She did my hair for my bridal photos and I got married in another state so she couldn't do my hair for my wedding :-( My bridal hair was better than my wedding hair. She did my sister's Hair for bridal and wedding photos and it was gorgeous! She did our hair exactly as we asked and it turned out better than we imagined! You will not be disappointed with her results. The cherry on top is that she is a delightful person to visit with when you are in her chair!
Need a wax or facial ?...Aveda in Gtown.. Karina Gutierrez is AMAZING! After moving here from NYC, I freaked out because I did not even know where to start to look for a good salon..but I found it at Aveda Georgetown. Two words for you ....KARINA GUTIERREZ.
