Amazing Skin Care - Ask For Karina! This past weekend, I treated myself to some much needed "me time" in DC with my plan being to visit a spa for a facial and waxing services. Great massage I really enjoyed the massage I got here. The staff was professional and courteous and the massage was great! They do aromatherapy which was a nice added bonus. I felt amazing afterwards.
Shana Dee - 2 thumbs up! Shana Dee is the best. She cut my hair for years until she relocated. You won't be disappointed. I was tempted to jump on a plane and jet across the country for a haircut, but I guess I have to be nice and share. The D.C. area has inherited one of the best.
NICE The Aveda in Georgetown is a great place to go. I have had haircuts, massages and facials here. The massages are extremely relaxing, just be sure you are specific with your masseuse so they know exactly what you want. The facial is excellent and the hair cut is always good. This is a very nice place to go to pamper yourself.
Shana Dee Shana Dee has to be my best experience at getting my hair cut. I am the type who finds getting my hair cut a chore, and I am generally uncomfortable during the process. Shana Dee is super friendly and welcoming and has a way of making you feel like you are just sitting down with a good friend. The hair cuts were great. She always asked what wasn't right and what needed to be changed or improved upon. Great care and expertise.
My first brazilian wax I came to D.C. to visit my best friend for my birthday and she set me up for a "quick wax" that she is turning all of her friends on to. One by one she's reeling us in for Karina, at first I felt like I was set up. But, after experiencing the "quick wax" with Karina I realized that I have to come back. For Waxing: SEE KARINA! I recieved a brazilian wax and a full leg wax from Karina. This woman is phenomenal. Her work is outstanding. She is personable, professional, talented and committed to providing excellent services. My experience with her was relatively painless and very fast, and I am incredibly happy with the results. God Bless Karina Recently relocated from San Francisco I was panicked about finding the right person to handle my waxing needs. Karina is a godsend. She's quick. She's painless. She's attentive and gets the job done. I thought I had found the perfect esthetician in San Francsico but Karina tops them all. If you're looking for a pain free Brazilian this is your girl. She's a miracle worker with brows too! MRL
Great products I love Aveda products, and this is a nice, well-stocked store to pick them up. The staff is a wee bit indifferent toward customers though. I can't speak to their hair styling services, though. Those people might be friendlier.
