Well, i became Dr. Aguiar patient september 2022. If you decide to replace you knee thats what i did and i am only in my 17th day after my surgery. Everything is going according to what he had said to me. He is accurate/ patient and very caring for his patients even though he is super busy but i am just amazed with the entire office professionalism/ effientcy and extremely prompt. I highly recommend him. You will be in great hands without a doubt
Dr Aguiar is one of the best orthopedic doctors in the area. Extremely knowledgeable and very kind. I highly recommend him.
Dr Aguiar repaired a complex tear of the anterior horn of my lateral meniscus / right knee when another orthopedic Dr said it could not be repaired w/ expectancy of a successful / satisfactory outcome. Dr Aguiar immediately explained the pros and cons of this surgery and what I should expect post a surgical procedure/ repair never doubting he could help me to a better place w/ pain and some age related osteoarthritis !! Dr. Aguiar was exceptional, his PA was responsive, the entire team is strong. He was very reassuring about the results I could expect, and has been as good of an experience as I could expect. Once you get past those first few weeks, which he clearly noted, it has moved right along. Do the daily exercises, and slowly. Take a day off when needed, the knee deserves the rest. But do them. You will see the results.
Thanks to Dr. Aguiar’s expert surgical abilities, I had a very successful total knee replacement surgery. I am so pleased with the results of this surgery. Deterioration of part of the bone was a concern to Dr. Aguiar, so he gave special attention to that area. He didn’t just depend on the robot to do the work. I couldn’t give Dr Aguiar and the robotic knee replacement I had at OrthoVirginia a higher review. Dr Aguiar is an excellent surgeon and having the surgery done robotically is the only way to go. Knee replacement is a big deal and having confidence in the surgeon is critical. When I need to get my other knee replaced, I’m definitely calling OrthoVirginia!
Well organized in terms of getting X-ray and diagnosis all in one painless visit (and that includes the shot). Staff was helpful too.
