spent a month here and had an amazing experience everyone was super nice and very attentive I would recommend it to anyone i actually had a fun time while here.
I'll say no to a degree! My mother is a current patient and MICU was seriously amazing, the care she got while on that floor was the most compassionate UNTIL she was transferred to the 4th floor! Her car is absolutely horrible, a manager has been needed TWICE so far because of their lack of care to her and someone who cannot walk! She is basically left to sit there all day and watch tv. No one is working with her and I'm pissed about how things are going. The nurses so far are a disgrace and some extremely rude!
Most of the staff is unfriendly and no where to be found when needed. Medication, water, or anything requested has taken hours if not forgotten. Ring the nurse bell is merely a suggestion. Now this does not apply to all nurses, some have been good. Specialists and providers that may or may not appear. I literally could go on and on.

My son had surgery nose here. Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Nurses took their time explaining everything. Made him feel comfortable. Lots of jokes and laughs. Only thing I recommend is them being more educated on pain. The nurse started to go into her speech about narcotics. I as a chronic pain patient had to shut her down politely. Not everyone who takes narcotics is addicted to them. Other than that I highly recommend this hospital!
Great care and compassion, no matter what you are there!
Badgering and trying to talk a mother into a procedure on her newborn while still on drugs. Someone needs to teach the staff this is not okay!! Very inappropriate taking advantage of a new mom in such a state when she clearly said no multiple times... informed consent is a thing for a reason. Must do better.
Wonderful staff who handle crazy patients with care and tact.
