The worst hospital staff I have ever had to deal with. Don’t bother going to the ER you’ll prob die waiting for someone to help you.

You have a nurse Angela Beasinger who has posted on the Woodchips Of Lapeer facebook reviews that she has violated state orders and eaten indoors while slamming the governor. She has put your entire staff and patients at risk. Why would ANYONE go to your hospital if people like her are working there?
My father had CABG surgery 9/28/2020. He passed away 11/29/2020. He had his surgery there, and spent 7 out of nine weeks there on various floors. Although we did experience a handful of wonderful drs. and nurses, to whom we are grateful, I feel that the majority of his care was mismanaged and mishandled. There are a few ICU nurses who have no bedside manner, and no business being in this profession. My dad was seriously ill, and would wait over an hour every time he just needed some ice chips. This place lacks basic communication. My mother has been there for 8 days and in ICU. The primary doctor has not called our family one time to give an update. We have called daily to the nurses station and talked with them and they have requested the primary to call us about 5 or 6 times and still nothing not even from a case worker. I wouldn’t take my dog to this place, please go to Hurley or U of M, stay away from this place.

Especially if you’re about to give birth, STAY AWAY from this place. I had a very comprehensively written birth plan full of what I was okay with and what I wasn’t. This included NO episiotomy, NO circumcision, DELAY cord clamping (until blood from placenta has left the umbilical cord), DELAY vaccinations (until I’d established a breast feeding relationship), And more. I don’t know what my doctors did with the copies but they clearly didn’t even glance. Every aspect was completely ignored and the doctors did whatever they fe... read more

This hospital used to have caring nurses but now idk what happened. The post partum department went down hill. These nurses aren’t caring nor compassionate and their body language, attitude and tone of voice speaks for itself. I used to brag about the good care I’ve received here but now it’s just a shame. I can hear their comments and attitudes about patients from inside of my room. I’m uncomfortable to even hit the call button cause I can clearly tell they are annoyed responding and doing their job. not very clean. Care was not of quality you would expect. Bedding was not changed for 4 days. Never again!!
