way nicer than lee’s summit and independence locations newer equipment, better lit parking, cleaner throughout.
Did my workout on Sunday 10/15/17 at this Genesis location. Its another great facility. Exercise machines, free weights are adequate for client use and provide numerous variations for a complete workout if so desired. Cardio equipment is also adequate and in useable condition. Check in desk personnel are friendly and courteous. Location offers several options for supplements. Had a great workout and experience yesterday at the location. Appreciate being a Genesis Member for almost 15 years.
I think this place got worse than when it was 24 hour fitness. They never open on time after the holidays and their equipment is regularly broken/out of service. Toilets are broke, locker room smells like piss. Just a poorly ran, poorly managed business.
This gym is just ok. They don't have everything one needs for a good workout. I asked for accommodations and they were unwilling. I'd say save your money and just get a membership to YMCA...
