RecommendedWent to get a new car this weekend and was given a high interest rate at the dealership. We left without the car and I didn’t think we would get it until later this week. I filled out the online application and was super surprised to get a call right away since it was a Saturday afternoon. Brandt not only got us approved with a much lower rate then the dealer was offering, but he got everything finished up before the dealership closed. Thank you Gate City and Brandt!

Extremely terrible experience with GC Bank. if you have bill pay set up they are not contracted with many companies at all which means electronic pay is not possible so they send out checks and it takes weeks to process. they will charge you overdraft fees, in my case a miscalculation resulting in 29 cents negative. paid OD fees for that. then for bill pay, if your deposit comes in after they process the bill pay they charge you OD fees for each of those. there is no opportunity to deposit funds to cover a pending transactio... read more
RecommendedGreat Customer Service every time, every branch I stop at. Easy process to open accounts or acquire loans as I've needed. They go above and beyond in our community to help others. They have donated their handy blue bags and yummy cookies for our students at Jefferson Elementary . We have been able to give to students the bags to help carry their winter gear and the cookies as a special school wide reward. It was a big hit and so appreciated! THANK YOU GATE CITY BANK!

RecommendedI don't know about other locations, but the gals in Park River, ND are awesome! They help us with our needs. They are funny! They always ask us how we are & above all, they are professional in a casual way. Meaning...they make you feel like you matter above all else & treat you with respect. Gate City has been the perfect bank for us! We love the fact that we don't have to turn in receipts to get credit for using the ATM. Free checks with a minimum of $50 is an added bonus. RecommendedGate City Bank has been amazing for my family. Between a mortgage and checking accounts to the simple drive-thru service - everyone who has helped us through it all have been wonderful and knowledgeable! GCB has great programs and rates and don't forget the cookies ;) (My only complaint is the new (as of fall '18) Online Banking System - huge learning curve, not easy to use. I'm sure there is a reason for it but neither my husband, myself nor our friends like it). Overall 4.9/5 stars for me!
