We just completed our seventh tour with Gate 1 and we have not been disappointed yet. This time we did a 10 day tour of Portugal and loved every minute of it. Our tour guide Luis was extremely knowledgeable and managed every detail perfectly, even providing small cultural treats along the way. Just returned Thursday from your 9 day Canadian Rockies Tour. Excellent! 👍👍👍❤ Tour Manager Scott R. was fantastic. One of best tours we've experienced. Our bus driver Riza was exceptional as well. Kudos to Gate1 for this enjoyable adventure.
Just returned from Gate1's Classic 10 day England and Scotland tour. Though we're pretty extensive travelers, this was our first guided tour and we were taking my sister-in-law and her husband along with us. RecommendedWe've booked 4 trips with Gate 1 and have never had an issue. We use the website and when we've called Customer Service, we were helped courteously and efficiently.
We just got back from our trip to Italy, Switzerland and Austria. We had an amazing trip! Our tour guide Remo was incredibly organized and diligent to make sure we were taken care of. His knowledge and expertise went beyond what we could have imagined. I've already recommended Gate 1 to a friend who wants to tour Italy.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! Literally the WORST customer service!!! I understand that some of this is on us but they are so rude and condescending and will all tell you different things after you wait 30 minutes to get through to their customer service line. My family booked a trip through them as a recommendation from a friend to be able to go on the same trip with them. I’ve had a very disappointing situation with this company. I called to acquire information for a vacation package departing from Puerto Rico (which is a US territory, nothing new), and the guy who answered my call told me that they do packages only for US, not for Puerto Rico. Then I asked the guy to include the airfare from PR to whatever airport they have listed but the guy couldn’t do that for me and his explanation was “because they don’t do that”. Their travel agents have horrible customer service. They have messed up my reservation several times and they are hard to get into contact with. In addition, the agent was rude while trying to explain that I had to pay fees for a mistake that was done when I originally set up the account. I will never work with them again.
