Booked engineer to look at leak. Could have fixed it myself though not a gas safe engineer. I showed them were it was. He could not fix it, which I thought strange. Second engineer a couple days later came out and replaced part. I got charged two call out fees for someone who couldn't fix the issue and secondly it that was fixed in 15 mins. So £220 quid. I am an OAP some discretion would have been nice....
Initially I was very happy with the service. The identified a part of the boiler that needed replacement and said it could be done as part of the follow years service. I duly recieved a call when my next service was due which I authorised the repair and then waited approx 2 months for the boiler service. The day of the service, the tech arrived to say they had ordered the wrong part and the office would be in touch and that the boiler SHOULD be ok for a little while longer. Very efficient. Managed to book but asked for a cancellation if possible which they did sort for me. The engineer on time and very efficient
I have been with gastech for many years snd have always found them to be friendly helpful and reliable. I had to call them out this morning and they were with me by 3pm..all fixed!
