Gardiner Animal Hospital is one of the last family run mixed veterinary practices around. Mixed veterinary practice means we take care of animals large and small, from your house cat to your 2500lbs draft horse. Gardiner Animal Hospital is the only practice locally with an on staff grief counselor. Dealing with pet loss is hard our pets are our family. Once monthly we offer group counseling sessions.

I am a veterinarian. My neighbor used GAH for primary horse care, because they promised 24 hour emergency service. Last night she needed them, but nobody was on call. Instead of helping her to find a vet who COULD come out and see her sick horse, "Doc" Goodnow called from FLORIDA and told her to treat the horse symptomatically with two different shots of medicine she didn't have, and didn't want to give by herself. Gardnier animal hospital is amazing. Always great people and take awesome care of our animals. Couldn't ask for anyone better.
Yesterday our approximately 18-19 year old cat & family member Tigger passed away. The veterinarian & technicians made us a beautiful keepsake of his paw print & wrapped him so that we could bury him. They take such great care of our animals & are truly compassionate people!!! Words can not express the level of compassion, professionalism and knowledge that Gardner Animal Hospital possesses. My family has been clients for over 20yrs. They have seen us thru both the best and worst of times with our fur babies. The entire staff truly loves what they do and it shows. I highly recommend becoming a part of this community.
