Gardiner Animal Hospital is one of the last family run mixed veterinary practices around. Mixed veterinary practice means we take care of animals large and small, from your house cat to your 2500lbs draft horse. Gardiner Animal Hospital is the only practice locally with an on staff grief counselor. Dealing with pet loss is hard our pets are our family. Once monthly we offer group counseling sessions.

Over the last 2 decades, I have brought all my dogs there, and they have been amazing, patient, and compassionate. I needed them in the middle of the night when my dog had a seizure and I got a call back in 5 minutes. Although those seizures claimed my dog the next morning, they helped me through that. I will be forever grateful.
RecommendedWe take our two dogs here when we travel or need to get them shots. All the employees are so nice and professional. Our puppy had his rabies shot and chip put in yesterday, he had no idea it even happened. He also had an ear infection that is now gone. I want to say thank you to all the staff for helping my pup. I definitely recommend Gardiner Animal Hospital to anyone!
this is amazing animal hospital. I had to put my dog asleep because of her breast cancer and they treated myself, the kids, and our precious dog with so much sincere care.. I even received an imprint of her paw..thank you all at Gardiner Animal Hospital..
Gardiner Animal Hospital has been a great fit for our fur family. Dr. Churchill is very patient with my questions and I feel like the staff treats my pets as their own. I can’t say enough about their vet tech Kelle. I have a special needs dog who can be unmanageable at the vet. Kelle makes sure she is safe and feels comfortable and goes BEYOND “above and beyond” if that is even possible. I do not recommend this place to anyone for hoarding! My dog broke his bottom canine tooth when they left him in a cage and given sedatives to calm down without my knowledge. Each time I called from vacation to ask how he was doing i was placed on hold and hung up on or transferred to a technician who did nothing but say he was fine. My dog ran out of there so fast and is so exhausted from the anxiety and sedatives and now missing a tooth and I was told “he’s fine”!
They were very comforting during my loss.
I am SHOCKED by the outstanding reviews I see on this site. I gave this office a second chance after a disappointing initial experience and was even more disappointed after the second appointment. I adopted a cat with hematoma in her ears knowing it would take regular cleanings from the vet to care for them. In order for her ears to be properly cleaned requires sedation, which I have had done at previous vets with no issue.
