Gardiner Animal Hospital is one of the last family run mixed veterinary practices around. Mixed veterinary practice means we take care of animals large and small, from your house cat to your 2500lbs draft horse. Gardiner Animal Hospital is the only practice locally with an on staff grief counselor. Dealing with pet loss is hard our pets are our family. Once monthly we offer group counseling sessions.

Once again I visited Gardiner animal hospital and my son Beau and I received amazing care! The people here are wonderful, warm, compassionate folks and I recommend them with the highest compliment! 2 terrible experiences. I will not be going back. First time I brought my dog to get her anal glands done. I got her home and she was still scooting. Took her back next day and vet said they were never even done. They also told me she didn't need her rabies shot and after making them check again she in fact was due for it. I gave them a second chance and went back today to get her nails cut. They cut her twice. She was bleeding and now is limping and won't put her paw down. I want to say a big “Thank You”�to Dr. Dawn and All the staff for taking such good care of my little guy Charlie. We rushed him in last night for an unfortunate emergency. She preformed surgery right away and he is home now and resting comfortably. So thankful you were available for our time in need! Thank you again!
We absolutely love Dr Ally & staff. There aren’t many vets in the area that care for pigs.. I spoke to her over the phone before we got our pig and she answered SO many questions and put us at ease. I had called several other vets prior to GAH and most of the people over the phone didn’t even know if their office cared for pigs! Dr Ally was very informative when our pig Piper went in for her spay and gave updates during her stay.. The folks at gardiner animal hospital are extremely nice and sincere. They help in any and all ways that they can and offer advice when it's needed. I just had to say goodbye to my cat Wanda and without the knowledge of the vets there I was able to make the right decision for my cat. Thank you to Dr. Kennedy. A big THANK YOU to Dr. Churchill without you and the conversation that we had I wouldn't have been at peace with my decision to let go of Wanda.
I can say I will never take another animal to this vet. Sat morning we took our 10yr old diabetic dog to the vet, she was not eating & did not want to walk. Upon evaluation the vet said that she'd likely stay for 2 days & would be given fluids & inlsulin because her glucose level was extremely high. We received a phone call at 5pm that night & was told the on call vet had canceled! This place is suppose to have a vet on call 24/7!
