So I got a circular from these people in my Mailbox, I have never heard of them personally, not surprising. I’m not from here, but I’ve lived here six years. I opened it up and the letter behind our letter asking us if we were in need of anything, you know your typical survey stuff, was another letter for an entirely different family on an entirely different addressed road on an entirely different part of the city of Missoula. Posting anonymously for my own safety. I personally took this video of the “prep room”, at their other location (Sunset Funeral Home). The prep room is where your loved ones are embalmed and worked on. This is how they store their embalming instruments. I truly don’t have words. I find this atrocious. WHAT IS THAT. I’m appalled. And please note that Garden City Funeral Home, Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, and Just Cremation Montana are all owned by the same man, Rick Evans. They own every funeral home in Missoula. The team at Garden City took much of the difficulty away from an inherently difficult situation. They allowed us to focus on grieving and made the planning process for burial and services as easy as possible (all things considered). Toby was incredibility professional, helpful, and empathetic towards our family during this process. Would absolutely recommend
