I was at your Uniontown , Pennsylvania store today because i purchased a ceiling fan/light last week and when i went to exchange it because parts were missing , I was asked how i paid since i couldn't find my receipt and i wasn't sure because i been buying a lot from Home Depot remodeling houses , I never exchanged or returned anything in my 47 years on this earth anywhere . This Home Depot drives me insane. It has the worst customer service of any store I have ever been in. Any time we go it's nearly impossible to get help with anything. If we do find someone that can help us, either they have no idea what they're talking about or they just don't want to. The only people that work here that treat you like a decent human being are the cashiers and the nice woman that works the paint counter. So I buy a 400 dollar Ryobi power washer last night at Home Depot. My brother ( who is btw a professional mechanic) gets it put together for me this am as per the directions. Put a full tank of fresh 93 gas in the tank. Runs for 15 minutes and shuts off. Restart it runs and while and shuts off...repeat this about 4 more times and I give up. Damn Chevy.....Had to call for a flatbed..got it started made it to republic water company. Had to call for a flatbed but no service so walked around got connected flatbed came took us home.
Their prices beats Lowes and other items. I also like how they have layouts for different departments, bathroom, decking (railing, ect.), and other. To me, it seems they have more to choose from....Will be shopping there more, than Lowes for now on!
This review is not a reflection of a particular store, but more so my on line experience. I have dealt with the Uniontown store on several occasions and don't have any complaints. My complaint is when I just tried to order a freezer on line, but the order kept showing a $59 delivery fee. I called the on line help desk and long story short, the 'list price' for the item I want to order is $1.80 short of the free delivery cut off.....hahaha....really!?!
