I ordered kitchen cabinets on May 12. They arrived 3 weeks later. One was badly damaged and returned. I am still waiting for the replacement. I have called multiple times and, when someone finally answers, they have no clue. The last thing I was told today was that the vendor can’t find a carrier to ship it! What does that even mean? I will never do business with Home Depot again, and intend to pursue efforts to get some reimbursement.
Went there today to purchase a new stove. Said it was in stock. Asked the guy and he didn’t even look in his computer or anything. Just said they didn’t have it. Then asked about if we could order it and said it was on back order. Wanted to purchase the one off the floor. Said no. So we won’t be shopping here anymore.
We ordered a washer a week ago and it finally came today. Except the delivery guys destroyed it in the process of bringing it in our house. After 6 phone calls, two of which I was disconnected, and a visit to my local store later we are finally getting another one, but not for another 10 DAYS! The best part about it is that no one seems to care and Home Depot is giving me the impression that they could care less about their customers. I ordered a smoker June 2nd and a cover for it. It said its expected delivery date was June 26. It got delivered it was the wrong smoker the smoker I received was $100 less than what I paid for also no cover. Took an hour and a half to talk to someone then ended up on the phone for another hour and they told me they could do on job pick up tomorrow but they don’t know when the right smoker would be delivered and for the cover they don’t know when they could get it to me. I was just at the Uniontown Home Depot to purchase four boards to have cut. I had to speak to a few employees since no one had the same answer. Finally spoke with "the wood cutter guy" as another employee called him. Asked to have four boards cut. He asked how i would like it cut and said it was $2 a board extra to cut. I said that's fine. I would like 8 inch planks cut, we normally get 12 planks out of each board. He relied, We don't do that. I said Yes you do we have done this a few times, last month even. I had to have a refrigerator ordered and the wrong one was ordered. I did not find that out until AFTER they delivered it. It took the store forever to order the correct refrigerator My new fridge was to be delivered and the wrong one removed on the same day. Apparently that is too complicated for these dipshits. The delivery company came to get the fridge they delivered and they did not have the new fridge I ordered. I was told this would all be done on the same day.
