I’m NEVER going back to this so called animal clinic. They are absolutely heartless!! My mom had a cat taken up there twice within the past month, they claimed her to be healthy.. just had some allergies maybe! Even did blood work and all kinds of tests knowing it was a waste of time and money. They gave my mother false hope that her cat was in better shape than she was actually in and that her condition would improve in a few days after this antibiotic shot. RecommendedI have used Gainesway animal clinic for about 5 years. I love Dr. McCord! He is compassionate and I trust him completely with my Lucy especially during this time of covid. It is very important to have a vet you trust when you can’t go in with your pet. The staff are great all the way up to the office administrator. I travel from Paris Ky so that I can have full confidence in Lucy’s vet. I highly recommend this vet clinic.
Lost this post twice. 30 yrs with Gainsway. Thank you to Dr. Gilpin, retired, and to Dr. Vice. short verson, Needed apt for my 2 babies with Dr. Vice. Understand covid restrictiond. Retired RN. AMAZING vet for your pets. They are so caring, they explain everything and they don't overcharge. I love them and they are awesome. Seriously, I know I'm just a random internet dude whose review you're reading, but they're the best I've come across with fair pricing and amazing caring service.

We are so grateful for Dr. Sallie and the great staff at Gainesway. Our sweet, rambunctious Rottie tore his ACL in the middle of all the craziness happening in the world. They fit us in the Monday after, and then amazingly have a surgeon who comes in to do the specialized surgery. It is nice to take him to our vet office he knows rather than traveling to somewhere else new for him. We’ve been coming to Gainesway for about 2 years now for our two pups. Last week we had a freak accident with our Rottie. It was a half hour before they closed and said we could bring him in. Dr. McCord was great with him! We normally see Dr. Sallie and they’re both great!
The vets at Gainesway have been with us for over 17 years and 4 dogs of varying breeds & size. They have always been phenomenal and caring. We don’t even live in Lexington and still make our way here for care. ❤️🐾❤️ Dr. Vice is our go to, but Dr. Nolte is awesome as well.
