My mom has been there 3 times in 2 weeks. Twice by ambulance. They kept her a few hours and sent her home. She's no better. But because the ambulance medic and the doctor talked to her like she shouldn't have come, the medic said she was just nervous, she doesn't want to go anywhere else.
I can give the name of a good veterinarian to use before going to this hell hole. I'm in room 937 right now they help is excellent but the charlatans they call doctors are totally irresponsible and rude. Birmingham, with its world class hospitals and doctor's, is only 47 minutes away.
Been trying for 2 hours to get her something for nausea, I bet if the doctor family was one puking he would do something about it for them. Gadsden is in desperate need of a descent hospital
ER IS TERRIBLE!! They are SLOW & unconcerned! Then the Dr comes in after almost 5 hrs just to say ummm...I don't know, everyday looks fine�� TERRIBLE!!
My Mother was admitted Thursday and was very sick. Unfortunately she waited a little to late to seek treatment and due her heart condition and COPD, she was struggling to breathe. I can not say enough about how they cared for her. They were amazing. Special thanks to Natalie on the 8th floor and all the other Nurses , Doctors, and Techs that took care of her. I couldn’t not have asked for better.
Nightmare from HELL......Botched operations and patient neglect there. NEVER even bathed after surgery and lay in my own filth for hours...Catheter allowed to become blocked because not adequately monitored after prostate operation. WORST PAIN ever and in OR because of my data incorrectly recorded, TWO failed spinals on two different days and FELT myself being cut on the first time...
