waited 4 1/2 hours to be seen with severe pain at the inside on my leg near the groin area, just to be told it's probably pulled muscle, after me and my mom told him we have a history of blood disorders on my moms side of the family, and she had a blood clot after she gave birth, and I was 2 week post pardom also!! he didn't run any tests and sent us away... after the pain got to bad to bare anymore I went to St.vincents Birmingham and they did an ultrasound right away and found the BLOOD CLOT !!!! All the nurses here have been as nice and kind as you could ask them to ever be. They have took really good care of Lena the time she has been here
How in the world can a person be in the hospital and the nurses do not know where to find a manual sphygmomanometer to check a person's BP. I reckon they must have left'em hanging around their rear-view mirror in the car - 🤪. All of this because the electronic sphygmomanometer is not working. Heck, I dont even know if these young nurses can take a BP manually. All of the good, experienced nurses have been fired or quit. REMEMBER THAT THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS FOR PROFIT. Only go here if you want to die. This facility is a Death factory. On top of the nonexistent care, they will try to rip you off. The maximum allowable amount on my part after Insurance is $226, but they are threatening me with collections on a $2400 bill. I'm not paying one red cent for the subpar inhumane treatment.
The ER is the worst. They are rude and you will be waiting 4+ hours in the waiting room. They do not care about patients in the ER. The doctors are complete idiots. I wouldn't recommend this hospital for your worst enemy, let alone anyone you care about. None of them know what they are doing.
Absolutely the best hospital I have been in and trust me I've been in several...they were very attentive and thorough.
Been here 4 hrs with wife came in for migraine and chest pains doctor has not came in never been to a hospital that makes you go sit in waiting area when you are having chest pains I see why everyone goes to Uab
