We are the part of Gables River Oaks since since 2... We are the part of Gables River Oaks since since 2019, and we are just loving it. We love all the amenities, the loving and kind staff, and all other workers. We are so thankful and lucky to be a part of this beautiful community.
The management team is nice. Our unit feels somewh... The management team is nice. Our unit feels somewhat dated but it’s not bad. We wish the kitchen sink was one large deep sink for more space to wash dishes. Also, the washer and dryers are extremely loud.

On your own after dark This complex has had multiple evacuations over the last two weeks due to fires, all of which have lasted hours. It’s possible we could have been let back in sooner, but when the leasing office closes residents are on their own no matter what. It was embarrassing last night when one of the firefighters asked us on the side of the road if anyone that worked here was available or reachable by phone and the answer was no.
Unsafe and poorly maintained property Where to begin with the problems at this apartment complex...multiple break ins and burglaries in the "access controlled" garage (due in part to a broken garage door that went unrepaired for several weeks), poorly maintained elevators with 1/3 of the building's elevators almost always not functioning, unsafe conditions owing to false fire alarms (4 in the last year, the most recent of which occurred for 2 hours in the middle of the night with residents waiting on the street outside for s... read more
Best Apartment complex in Houston This building is nestled in the midst of everything. Shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, you name it..it's within walking distance. The staff is very courteous and pleasant and handle apartment concerns in a timely manner. The biggest plus is the sound barriers between each apartment. I never hear my neighbors.
