Fitted a replacement engine in my 118i. Did the minimum. Supplied by someone else who recommended them to fit it. It was seemingly not the correct engine, although it was similar and fitted. From day 1 the mileage to next service didn’t work properly. This was because the replacement didn’t have a place on the sump to fit the oil sensor.
