A rare treat and bucket list item. So pleased with all of it. The best part? We did not have reservations. If the timing is right, you can indeed get in here.
I love Frontera Grill! We went for lunch and I had the sopecitos and the Frontera ceviche. My husband had the carnitas. Every thing we put in our mouths was absolutely delightful. We don't get to Frontera very often but when we do it's always a treat. The service is impeccable and the food is fantastic. Eat here!
We had planned to come by early and wait for a table, but my girlfriend was able to snag a table at one of the places on my restaurant bucket list. I've always wanted to go to Frontera since at least when I lived in Chicago in 2002 and they didn't disappoint us in the least. Great cocktails and margaritas and the food was better than I had imagined from appetizer (Cevice and Oysters, to our shared entree to an incredible dessert). I hope it's not another 14+ years before we go back.

So good! We had the queso fundido. This was the first time I had had it with roasted poblanos and onions and it was Delish! For entree I had the short rib quesadilla. Even the salad that came with it was great. If you like tequila ask for bartender recommendations.
Always delicious, always creative, always a great experience. And Carlos is a fantastic individual.
