They overbill. I had cataract surgery at the Eye Institute on the hospital campus. I was never actually in the hospital proper. But I am being billed $50 over my copay as they say the Eye Institute is a hospital based facility.. This enables them to bill as if I was in the hospital itself. The Eye Institute does same 150 to 200 eye surgeries a week, so Froedtert is overcharging each of these patients which gives them quite a large sum of money over time. This is a practice that needs to be changed.

My complaint is a billing complaint; not a health care complaint I had a two physical therapy appointments the month of September 2016 I was billed for both appointments on 9/9/16. Despite numerous contacts with the billing service and the contacts agreeing it was inaccurate billing and they would resolve the error it was never done. I have now received a collection notice. I will pay the collection agency because I believe i owe $25.00 per appointment but their records will show the billing as only one charge for the month.... read more

My dad started chemotherapy treatments with a cancer doctor at Froedtert; by the name of Dr. Anita D******, who was very negligent while caring for my dad. He started his treatments in January of 2015. My dad was very healthy and as he went under the treatments, his health failed tremendously. He is in his 60's and he had undergone 4 or 5 different chemo treatments.
