New dentists have no clue how to deal with patients. Got nerve damage from an injection then told I needed extra time for extraction booked appointment 3 times for it never to be done. However plenty X-rays taken and charged to tell me I need expensive work not available on nhs hence why I want them extracted. Has given me anxiety to the point I can’t leave the house to get to my appointments. Have been with practice 35+ years and this has only developed in past 4 years steadily getting worse.
Receptionists, nurses and dentists all friendly and patient with me - a very nervous patient! Very strict about time though, so plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early in case of tractors or unexpected traffic lights etc., otherwise you'll have to pay £10 but not be seen. Also, appointments are at a premium so if you miss yours, it might be 2 or more months before you can get another.
Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff.
