AAAAh - I feel Amazing! – It seemed that someone in all my diverse circles, from work, to working out, to yoga, to sipping on wine at odd bistros, I kept hearing about Fringe Salon and how great the work is. So - at last I scheduled a cut and color. I have really long hair, super curly hair. I am always nervous about the way it reacts after the cut. Red is better – I just went to Fringe for the first time this week to have a simple haircut. I received a great haircut while also havign a great conversation and stayed a bit longer to have my muddy brown locks turned to a beautiful, ginger red. I love it. Katy did my cut and Savannah did my color. I am so happy and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I am sending all my girls to Fringe.
How much I love my hair – Fringe rocks. I have been going to Fringe for over a year, my hair has never looked better. At the moment, it is short with deep chocolate shades. I spend roughly 2-5 minutes styling my hair - which means I towel dry it and run out the door. It always looks so good. I highly recommend Fringe. The environment is soo welcoming and really friendly, and they have their own product line. All the best to the girls at Fringe - thank you for making me soo happy.
I finally found my stylist! – I have a friend who introduced me to the girls at fringe. I have hard to handle hair and can never find anyone who knows how to cut it so i can make it look hot on my own. Savannah was the girl who cut my hair ( I was tryin to grow out a short haircut) Not only did my hair never go through an awkward stage, it looked super cute without ever having to put much time into styling it. A wash? Yes, absolutely. – One of the best things about Fringe Salon is the selection of music the stylists play. Personally, I believe that girls in general have a horrible taste in music, but these girls actually have their act together. Just having new music doesn't make it worth a listen - that's what college radio is for. Fringe puts some kind of filter on the musical selections that weeds out 99% of the rubbish. These Ladies know how to cut hair!! – I have been going to fringe for years now, and i love them!! I can't understand how anyone can get a cut there and be unhappy. All the stylists listen to what you want, and are very well trained at giving you any style. The place is a real cute and cozy salon w/out the pretintous attitude. Don't listen to these bad reviews, try fringe out and you will not be sorry you did.
Worst Haircut Ever. Seriously. – The salon is in my neighborhood and I'm all about supporting female-owned and independently-owned buisnesses, so I gave them a call. I have extremely curly hair (I'm bi-racial; Italian and African-American), and inquired (probed really- anyone who has curly hair knows they have to probe, because some stylists THINK they can cut curly hair, when in fact they have no clue) with the receptionist about the stylists' curly-cutting abilities. One of the worst cuts ever. – The stylist I saw (not Amy) did not know how to take directions. She gave me a very ugly haircut and basically butchered my hair after I told her that I was growing it out. I feel like I've been ripped off. I did not get the haircut I asked for and I still had to pay for it. This place is not worth the high prices. I will never go there again.
The ugliest haircut of my life – I went to Fringe for the first, excited to be supporting female-owned businesses. I left with the worst haircut of my life. The stylist did not understand what I was asking for, she did not know how to cut my hair and her attempt at styling my hair made me actually wonder if she was purposefully trying to make me look ugly.
