Rachel is the BEST! I have lived in the city for 10 years and she's the best I've found. I'll never go anywhere else. Perfect color. A cut that grows out great and looks like I got it done last week (even though it might be months). Listens to everything I have to say and finds the best thing I could have hoped for at that time. If you don't go to Rachel you're absolutely settling for second best.

I love Fringe!! Rachel has been cutting and coloring my hair for about a year and I always leave feeling really good. My hair has a tricky texture and a good handful of grays and it's totally amazing how she makes it all work beautifully. I added crazy color recently, and she did it so artistically! So happy to have found my hair Fairy Rachel!!!

Rachel is an amazing hair stylist who is a joy to be around. She is extremely talented, always helping her clients to look their best. She gets to know her clients and helps them figure out what hair style will work the best with their lifestyle while making them look their best. She is detail oriented and focuses on how your hair will look even after it starts growing out. I always leave Rachel feeling beautiful. Her warm and exuberant personality is contagious.

Rachel fantastic. She understands color so well and did a great job with my balayage... She is also a master at bangs. She takes the time to make sure they are absolutely perfect. Enough said right?!

Rachel is truly amazing and I can't recommend her highly enough. She's kept my blonde bright and put my hair in much better shape with her awesome balayage technique (from my previously overly-highlighted mess of a mane), and her cuts are amazing - exactly what I'm looking for even when I can't articulate just what I want. Rachel is a delight both as a stylist and a person. I have been getting my hair cut by her for almost 2 years. She listens very well and is always confident in her execution. I have short fine hair and it is difficult to find someone who can give me a chic and feminine cut. Now that I have found Rachel, I will never look further. Overall, I recommend Fringe as a salon and Rachel for haircuts!

I recently made the trek from Richmond, VA back to NYC to see my hairstylist, Rachel at Fringe. Even though I had moved, I just couldn't imagine trying to replace her. After starting to see Rach, I get compliments on my hair even months after my last cut. The long layers she has put in grew out very well and I consistently like the way it looks even when I don't do anything to it. Besides her talent, she's kind and comfortable to talk to- but she's also not pushy. I totally recommend her.

DO NOT go to Jenn if you have long or curly hair. She apparently only cares about people who want short hair cuts and if you don't want one she will ignore what you say and give you one anyway. And forget it if you have curly hair -- she doesn't ask any questions or listen to anything you have to say. So BEWARE!! I can't speak for any other stylists but I had a good cry over what she did to my head of hair and I hope no one else ever has to go through that.
