Careful and Precise – Joe was excellent. Very careful and precise. The salon staff was also very helpful and friendly. I always love coming into this salon.

Talented, Friendly, The Best – I love the folks at Fringe! Talented, friendly, and the best cuts to be found in NYC. Another plus, Great music and a relaxing, fun atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.
Worth The Drive – I love having my hair done by Brian and the people at Fringe are always so fun. I've been back and forth to a lot of salons here in the city and trust me when I say that Fringe is well worth the 35 minute drive for me. Returning customers get a complementary free bang trim.
Just What To Do – I love Joe! He always know just what to do & make my hair as beautiful as it should be!
Upbeat – Always fun to come in. Love the changing art & jewelry at the counter. The staff here is upbeat and very fun to interact with. I love Prissy, she never fails to amaze me with her work on my head.
Life Patron – Of all the times I've been here, I've yet to have a bad experience with anyone here. From the receptionist to Amy the owner, they have always treated me with the utmost courtesy and friendliness. My cuts and colors always turn out how I like and well worth every penny I spend here! They've earned my patronage and recommendations for life.
best ever – I was walking by in the lower east side and saw the cutest little salon ever. I decided to walk in and see how much a hair cut was. The prices were very very reasonable for a new york salon and it was not at all pretentious. I decided to get my hair cut with Brian. He was not only super fun, but he totally knew what was "in" with style. He gave me a great cut and the blow out with it was AWSOME. I am for sure coming back.
Not good for curly hair – I have wavy/curly hair just past my shoulders and am trying to grow it longer. I need layers so that my hair doesn't poof out, but am not at all interested in having choppy, noticeable layers ala Rachel from Friends. I dont think that this is too much to ask and I have been happy with many haircuts I've gotten at other salons.
