A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. Great food..great service..friendly staff..beautiful and relaxing place..we love it!
I would recommend fried chicken the best. Not enough crab cake . Orange roughly fish not good. The all you can eat was off the chain especially the fresh corn absolutely the best!!!
Waitresses were 5 stars!! These women were AWESOME. Food was good. Ordering BEFORE you are seated was a new concept for me. Crab cakes had no fillers. Ice cream was high quality. I would definitely go again.
Our server was truly "friendly" and did well with keeping up with our party of 9 on Saturday, but I felt the food was sub-par and over priced. It was $238 for 9 people to eat. The cheapest meal for an adult is $18.95 and that's only for chicken tenders or fried chicken. I opted for the crab cake which looked great when it reached the table, but i got bits of shell with every bite. The green beans were obviously canned and the fries were bland. The best part of the meal were the sugar biscuits.
Had the best crabcake ever—at Friendly Farms booth at the Maryland Wine Festival yesterday! I miss going to the restaurant—you’re too far away from me now. :-(
