A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. Only about the hundredth time we've been! Best crab cakes on earth! Great fried oysters! Always consistent!
The crab cake is always a good choice and those little sugar buns--oh my!!
It's a favorite with our family. I always get the fried chicken and it is such a treat. Excellent. All of the sides are fresh and delicious. Our party of nine ordered different dishes and everyone raved. Thank you.
It's not just about the food which is always good by the way. It's an amazing place. Family style makes for a wonderful group experience. The setting is peaceful and beautiful.
We visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at about 3pm. The food was wonderful and there was no wait at all.

Service is awsome. The staff is awsome. Always ask for waitresses April or Kim. Never had bad food or service.
