A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. 4.7 stars? My entire family must be missing something here, that is other than the $100 from my bank account. The main dishes were good but the rest was an odd and unimaginative blend of sides that were obviously from a can or frozen. Very disappointing!
Went there with my boyfriend and his family yesterday (my first time) and the food was great! We also have a 1 year old and it was nice that they had a menu that satisfies his appetite as well! Overall a good visit to the farms and I can't wait to return! �

Everything was Great from the time we walked in until the time we walked out, as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say "We'll Be Back "
The food is really good. We had crabs cakes, shrimp. Orange Ruffy. All four of our meals were excellent.Took my dad there for his 93rd birthday. From the time you are greeted as they take your order to the waitress that serves the dinner. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. Thank you Linda (waitress) for making my dad feel special.
