A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. It was my first time at this restaurant ; I was visiting from Chattanooga Tn.and I was absolutely impressed. I loved it! !!
Excellent as always! Only downer was watching unattended kids chasing the poor ducks. Too bad it wasn't the geese they would have learned a valuable lesson quick!
It was my first time there my parents were celebrating their 49 anniversary. Megan was our server she was very good and attentive. My parents had the roast beef they weren't really happy with it. I had the porkchops and they were awesome. I couldn't believe that I got 3 of them yummy. The atmosphere was nice and the scenery beautiful. I can't wait to come back again.
