A country drive through Hereford leads to our two hundred acre farm in Northern Baltimore County. Surrounded by three ponds, the view is breathtaking year-round.Our family started the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland in 1959. Originally located in the existing farm house, the present building was opened in 1964 to accommodate a growing clientele. Dining is family style. great place, beautiful location, delicious food, who needs more than that :)
My daughter and I went here for the first time on Monday . It was a beautiful landscaped farm . We had a wonderful lunch. Food was very good. Linda was our waitress. She was very friendly and very attentive to our needs while we were there. There was a problem with one of the vegetable dishes , but she apologized and got us a new one. My chicken was very good. This place has been a family favorite for over 30 years. They have a big menu but are known for their fried chicken. That is all I have ever gotten. All served family style with cottage cheese, apple butter, rolls and “donut” rolls, corn, green beans, French fries, and cole slaw and drinks. All the sides you want!
Tha food has always been excellent, the servers are awesome 👏 i've never had a bad meal ever. One time the cabbage for the coleslaw was somewhat tough and that's the only time I've had something I did not enjoy. But other times the coleslaw was excellent. The red beets or excellent, the applesauce and cottage cheese delicious and everything is have always been the best
The crab cakes are the best!! This was the first time they had Hershey's Deep Dish Apple Pie Ice Cream as a choice.....so glad I chose it!!! Loved it!! Please make it a regular on the menu!!�
The surf and turf was great as well as the staff.
