where i'm from, a family style restaurant is basically a buffet but instead of getting up to get your food, the servers bring it to you and you pass it around the table. but the biggest difference between my local family farm restaurant and friendly farm is, it's more than all you can eat side dishes. it's all you can eat main dishes, sides, etc. . . . and the price is about the same. i was floored when i saw the prices and that it was only all you can eat sides. i think friendly farm is totally overpriced. my son got the ch... read more

I've been going for over 30 years! I love the family style serving. Food is nice and fresh especially the crab cakes (all lump). Staff is great also! Nice family friendly outing.

I was there Saturday evening about 5:30 a crowded waiting area, but did not take long at all for our party of three to be seated. The food was delicious (each of us had fried chicken ) and our waitress was wonderful. Will be returning.

My first time here and I ate Thanksgiving Dinner there with family and while the food was ok I can't see spending. $36 + 20% gratuity on turkey and ham. Perhaps the ability to order a glass of wine would be nice and to have your apple pie be served warm instead of ice cold would be better as well. All in all the servers were great but I didn't eat enough mashed potatoes and stuffing or meat to pay off for that price.

My family visited for the first time last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sharon was our server and was more than happy to explain how the food was to be served so we got the most out of experience. My wife and I agreed that we enjoyed everything that we ate and will definitely be back in the future.
